I like it! It's fairly well animated (about the same quality as the first season of Maria-sama ga Miteru), super cute (kind of like Chacha), occasionally disturbing (kind of like Kodomo no Omocha), and has a great cast. The main character, Mikan, is voiced by Ueda Kana. Mikan is like a cuteness-unrestricted Yumi from MariMite. By the way, her name literally means pretty orange. Personally, I think she's more of a cute orange.
Mikan's best friend (natural enemy?), Hotaru, is voiced by Kugimiya Rie. Even though I was able to figure that out fairly quickly, I kept questioning myself until I actually looked at the casting list. This is an unusually subdued role for Kugimiya-san, who usually plays super cute and active characters.
This series is directed by Oomori Takahiro, who directed Fancy Lala, one of my favorite shoujo anime, so I'm expecting a lot from this one.
Since I dropped Nanoha, this and Utakata are the only anime I'm buying now. Maybe I'll go nuts and buy all the Galaxy Angel. More on that when I list Galaxy Angel CDs.
