Comments:
This is the newly released Limited Edition Lucky Price Box Set. The discs
themselves are identical to the original releases (SVWB-1473 to SVWB-1479).
It's an unbelievably good deal, especially when you consider how great the
series is. I didn't know a thing about it, but when I saw the low-cost
limited edition boxset coming out, I looked around for some information and
decided to buy it. It's got good cast (Kawakami Tomoko as Satsuki and
although not a main character, Kawasumi Ayako as Hanako, AND Nakao Ryuusei
as Kaaya -- Can you say Bougu?), and a very intriguing setup. Ghosts are all
very interesting in their own ways and the story is genuinely scary. It's not
cover-your-eyes-screaming scary, but rather thoughtfully scary. I'm upset at
myself for not knowing anything about such a great show, but I forgive myself
for ordering in time to get this boxset. For a low-cost TV-series animation
without cell usage, quality is very good and even those occasional moments of
stumbling animation quality are short enough not to be bothersome.
Image1: As can be seen in this very-high-quality jpeg file,
compression is not very well done, but it's not really bothersome when
watching the show.
