It feels like the story is splitting into too many branches. As the story progresses, it's inevitable for the characters to start moving at different paces because, well, it's not realistic to think that they would all end up flying to space together. Some of the story dissolution is certainly due to this fact, but even considering that, I feel like the story is losing some of its focus. Kei-chan keeps trying to keep everyone together, though.
