I don't know why I bought this. I guess I was expecting it to have at least
one song by Hayashibara-san that I don't have. I was wrong, but it wasn't
that expensive and the CD is actually not that bad. Evangelion series does
not interest me, though. It's certainly worth watching once or twice, but I
just don't get what all the fuss is about. Hideaki-san is just telling the
teenagers very simple message by making it sound as complex as possible. It
works with the stupid kids these days, so I guess he was successful at
achieving his objectives. Hideaki-san's method of conveying his message
changes when he's talking to dumb adults. Just watch "Anime Ai no AwaAwa
Hour" and you'll see. I don't like that either because I'm not one of those
dumb adults. The method he uses to convey his message in Kareshi Kanojo no
Jinou is exactly the type I like. Hideaki-san really knows his audience well.
That's great except when people buy his work expecting it to be similar to his
other works, they will be disappointed unless both are targeted at the same
kind of audience. From what I hear, he sent his messages to each group and so
he's quitting. Maybe he'll come back when he thinks of new messages to convey
or when he thinks of another group of people he hasn't addressed yet.
