Creamy Mami, Memories of Magical World

Created/Updated 2005-12-30

It's very much a pure art book. There's art work, little bit about the artist, and description of the origins of each drawings. By far, the art work dominates. There's no fancy framing, arranging, or anything like that. Each page has nothing more than a page number and the art work. Even the descriptions are moved off to the end of the book, so there's nothing to distract you from appreciating the art. It feels so right at home, it makes me wonder why many of the more recent "art books" have so much other stuff in it. For example, "AIR the Motion Picture, Premium Art Collection" is more of a guide book than an art book. I have nothing against guide books, but why not name it that, then? And lose the "premium" crap, too.

Nobody is going to kid about the high price of this. It's not for just anybody. It's for the fans of Creamy Mami and Takada Akemi.
