Songs do not stand out as much as those from "Hoshi no Koe" and "Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho." Of course, that is as expected since the story of "Byousoku 5 Centimeter" is more subtle.

I don't think I've ever mentioned this, but all the CDs related to Shinkai Makoto's anime (which implies Tenmon's works) do not employ excessive dynamic range compression, and are normalized to around the -3dB point. Wonderful, isn't it? I do not own any Tenmon's works that are not related to Shinkai Makoto's anime, so I can't say anything about them, though.
