I picked up a couple of Ishikawa CDs because, well, you know..., she is coming to AX2007. Actually, it's now July 5, so AX is already over, and I managed to get this one autographed there. Regardless of all that, I don't think anyone will question the fact that she has nice, almost mystic voice. Her voice dominated the See-Saw experience, so I don't feel her solo works sound all that different. I say that in a good way. This is in contrast to Sakamoto Maaya, where Kan'no Youko played such a large role in their previous works, that Sakamoto-san's solo transition leaves listeners with a completely different experience.
I'm sure most Japanese fans are aware of the strange phenomenon in which you hear "uninstall" as something else. If you were at her AX2007 concert, you also know it because she sang it that way just once. Oops! It's supposed to be a secret. Shhh....
