Last volume ended with a bit of a cliffhanger, so I was actually worried things were getting too serious, but everything turned out fluffy in the end, mostly, so it's fine..., mostly. I'm not fond of all the new family ties that are showing up. To me, it's unrealistic for them to get involved with the orphans (technically, their father is not known to be dead, so the word may be inappropriate) so haphazardly.
I like them left alone, or as the landlord is doing, just watch over them from afar without any direct involvement except in emergencies. The rich sister pair deal is fine, too. They're basically comic relief, providing a nice contrast and occasional laughs.
