Battle Royale is not anime, of course, but I'm listing it because I
feel like it.
There's really no comparison between R2 and R3 video quality. R3
does have DTS sound, which sounded more dynamic to me, but Dolby
Digital 5.1ch sounds plenty good to me, so I don't think it's such
a big deal that R2 is lacking DTS sound. With all the cool special
features in R2 (special edition only), it's not a hard choice at all.
