Kaneda-san: CUTE! Perfect Chiyo-chan.
Higuchi-san: Full of life! Perfect Tomo-chan.
Asakawa-san: Cool outside, cute inside! Perfect Sakaki-san.
Matsuoka-san: One word. Oosaka!
Kuwashima-san: Seems cool, but clumsy inside. Perfect Kagura-san.
Nogawa-san: A bit extreme, but works wonders for Kaorin.
Hisakawa-san: She might as well be the real Kurosawa-sensei.
Hiramatsu-san: Unseparable combo for Hisakawa-san.
Who am I missing? Ah, Tanaka-san.... After watching the whole thing
so many times, and reading the cast interviews on-line, I decided that
Tanaka-san was a bit disappointing as Yomi. I believe it would've
been better if she stopped listening to the director and just did what
she thought was the right way to voice Yomi. I really wish Tanaka-san
would stop for a minute and think about why she became a seiyuu. I
feel that she's been getting lost in all the work lately.
Anyway, these are all very tough roles and everyone did a wonderful
job. There is no way this series can be translated properly into any
other language because everything said is so simple, yet with such an
enormous amount of meaning to them. Besides, Oosaka becomes just
Kasuga Ayumu without her Oosakaben.
