I mentioned before that Tanaka-san didn't seem to feel right as Yomi.
I have a theory on that as well. After a while, I realized that she
does work very well as Yomi. My early impressions appear to be due to
Tanaka-san being upset at something. I maybe digging too deep here,
but I believe she wanted a different role. At first, I thought it was
Kaorin, but after some more thought, I believe she wanted to do
Sakaki-san. Sakaki-san is the ideal person Tanaka-san wants to be in
real life! From what Tanaka-san said about herself in Club Rie Rie
CDs, I have no doubt about this. Fortunately, she gets into her Yomi
character and so everything is good :)
Kaneda-san (Chiyo) still sounds a bit unnatural. The thing is, when
she speaks normally, she already sounds insanely cute, so she should
actually have spoken almost naturally. Unfortunately, she tries to be
even cuter as Chiyo. You know what they say. Too much of anything
can be bad.
Image1: There's slight ghosting/reflection. It was easy to see when using a display with true linear gamma curve like LCD, but very hard to see with CRT. The green line at the bottom was in the capture, but I think I just captured at the wrong time. I could not reproduce it.
