I know nothing about the novel this is based on and I don't plan on getting it either. I only bought this because it sounded interesting from what Sasajima Kahoru said in "Love Phero - GanMou" internet radio.
After a little accident, Akira is suddenly able to see ghosts. On his way back from the hospital, he meets the ghost of his childhood friend who he apparently had a crush on. She apparently doesn't know she's dead. They talk, reminisce, realize the truth, confess to each other, make a little promise, and finally separate.
It's a simple little story. In fact, it's too simple, even for me! I can't figure out why they even bothered to bring Yuzu, Akira's blood _un_related younger sister, into the picture. It's such an overused theme. I imagine the novel has a bit more complex story, but I am not going to find out.
Cast is good, though, which is one of the reasons why I decided to pick it up. Akira by Ishida Akira, Momoka by Orikasa Fumiko, Yuzu by Inamura Yuuna, and Satomi by Saitou Chiwa. Boy, Inamura Yuuna is so cute!
Anyway, it's a bit of a disappointment for me, but if you're trying to learn Japanese and like CD dramas, you might find this one easy to listen to.
