Comments:
Long story short, I really didn't intend to get both this & the
complete Japanese set, but a minor planning glitch led to this
unfortunate result.
There are some things I get with this set that I don't from the far
more expensive Japanese set, though.
- English dub. Urr, okay, this could be considered a negative, but
then, at worst, I can just ignore it.
- English sub. I don't need this, but I could use it to entertain
guests... not that I ever have guests.
- Creditless opening movies for every episode, except 4 (credits
embedded in the animation). With the Japanese set, you only get
creditless opening for episode 2.
- Creditless ending movies for every episode. Japanese set is
missing episodes 6, and 10. Note episode 7 and 8 appear to have
identical ending sequence. Episode 10 is Yui ending and the
creditless ending on this set uses the normal ending theme (Brave
Song), instead of the special ending theme (ichiban no
takaramono).
Of course, Japanese set has far more interesting extras, like the
character commentaries.
