There are quite a few non-progressive blips. I don't see how they could have
gotten the THX certification with that.
Comments:
Akira is, well, Akira. I really don't care for it. I actually don't
like the kind of high frame-rate movements that Production I.G. creates.
Did you know that Production I.G. is P.I.G? It's a pig! Anyway, I
hate all the exaggerated movements on this kind of animation. The
same thing goes for a lot of the American animation. It's an art in
itself to reduce framecounts and let the viewers fill in the
movements.
