Now that I'm watching this back-to-back with another much better animated series (My-Otome), it's obvious how bad the animation is for this series. It's like they animated it for a cellphone screen and then blew it up to put onto a DVD.
Unfortunately, the story is still pretty good, and really, I hate having boxes with nothing to fill them, so after going back-and-forth with it, I've re-added the last two DVDs to my order. Mind you, I might still take them out later.
Anyway, first pressing comes with a box for volumes 4 through 6, some kind of clear files, two postcards, and a papercraft (requires tedious assembly).
Papercraft sheets and instruction. I could scan it, print it using a color later printer at work and then make a bigger one....
No, really. It's fuzzy. And the effort that _didn't_ go into animating the clouds is totally obvious.
This is 1/4 resolution (50% linear reduction) version of the above image. Do you see any extra detail in the full resolution version? I don't think so.
