Gekkan Undine 04 (A.C.0076-14) Limited Edition

Created/Updated 2008-04-19

I think majority of people who buy these probably buy them for the figures, or at least for the purposes of collecting ARIA related items. These people most likely also have the first three volumes released in 2006.

Paper and print quality is very high, but the content is a bit odd. I like the featured articles for each of the main characters, but the rest feel overused, or overdone. Short serialized manga, "Prima wo Nerae!" became even more over the top than the ones in the first three volumes. I'd even go so far as to say that they're absurd. Even the joke advertisements don't seem as funny this time around. I think the novelty is all used up in the first set from 2006.

I guess we'll just move on to the figures. They're relatively large at about 5cm (2 inches) tall each, and pretty high quality, too. I guess the pictures will tell the rest of the story.

One last thing. The character feature order may be significant. At least, it lines up with the order in which..., well, I guess I shouldn't say. But then, it may just be a coincidence.

Runaway Aria-shachou (back). Mine had cover layer of sticker still stuck to the outside. Removing it clears up the image, but it's still haphazardly done.
