In this age of unnecessarily complicated and twisted stories, this
series takes a different approach. It sticks to simple stories that
are still interesting, entertaining, and thoughtful. Characters still
have their one-liners, but I'm getting used to it enough to not get
annoyed by them.
By the way, I find the anime version of the drama CDs to be better
done than the comics version.
