Environmentally friendlier Cyalume(TM) substitute, Part 5 (Probably Last).

I've outdone myself this time! Behold, Model 2, featuring...

• One piece construction (except for the battery cover).
• No glue used in construction (other than a small amount of Loctite(TM) for the switch).
• Side mounted switch. Very convenient!
• Smaller size than even the prototype model that used Li-Ion battery.
• Battery can be disconnected to prevent accidental activation during transport.
• Can be powered using an external battery pack in a pinch (or if virtually limitless runtime is required).
• Flat top (I realized the hook on the top is dorky looking).

I'm now officially tired of messing with this stuff. There will not be any more made. In other words, two of them (Model 1 and Model 2) are and will be two of a kind. Note that the prototype was destroyed in order to make Model 2.

Well, okay, so maybe, if I really feel like I need it, I might make red, blue, and green versions of Electric Ultra models. But knowing myself, I doubt it. Once I get good enough at something, I tend to just move on to something else.
